IP Address Blocked!

Can anyone pls tell me whether my IP address could be blocked if a Web site owner comes to know that I am consuming his bandwidth? Also, how the site owner comes to know who's viewing his Web site?

I want a solution for this and want to know the steps how I can unlock my IP add from being blocked.

1) Website users have various kinda of apps/scripts to know who is viewing thr site n all details abt the person. One of those is AWstat in cPanel provided by many web hosts.

2) Use Proxy to hide ur IP address or use HideMyIP application to do that...

Yup! He can. He can block your IP Address or a complete range of IP Addresses.

BTW what you were doing? Something illegal/hotlinking or what?

No man. I m not into illegal things. In my company we access records from US Websites. eg: www.taxnetusa.com and some other sites. Now, those web sites are blocked and we cant access records. The company IP itself is blocked by those Web sites. And thats the problem. Any suggestions?
