Service & Performance of cheap Acer & Compaq Laptops

Acer has launched sub 30K Laptops & Compaq has a Laptop for 36K. Now the question is about reliability and robustness of the product. It should not have malfunctioning parts in three months. How are compaq and acer in their service. What about Compaq M2002 models reliability.
Model info: Acer TravelMate 2355 NXC & cost 30000 totaland Compaq M2002 AL and cost 36000 (in Mumbai).

It's good that laptop prices are coming down..but concern is to be raised about the build quality..Electronics are any way ok, but built quality used to be inferior to that of higher models..

I would rate the Compaq presario over the acer any day. Support wise even acer is doing a lot to improve tech and other support
