i am having C2D 2.66 with 4 gb ram n 250 gb hard disk n window xp sp3 installed on it
1. when ever i click shut down/restart every application got closed but not my window....at this point only my wallpaper remain there and desktop icon's are also gone..,but shut down screen didnt appear....then i have to press manual reset button and then log off screen appear and computer shutted down...there is no error and at that time when only my wallpaper is there i pressed ctrl+alt+del to see what are the process running there i find nothing suspicious and even memory used and processessor too gone zero...i am using tune up utility 2009 and quick heal but it too didnt identify any error
2.i am using lime wire for downloading some torrnt file ...i used to get maximum speed during night so i thought that turn monitor off in 5 minute to save power consumption but after it i noticed that during this download speed became very low i.e 2-5kbps but when i turn on monitor i get 20-25kbps...i wana know what to do so that i can turn off my monitor and still get that high speed
3.i have installed acronis disk director suite trial version from its site but its getting hang on its installation or during 1st run and then i have to reinstalled it again n again...how to know what prob is making him not to start or hang continuously and then whenever i click on some other prog to uninstalled it gave me error that some changes ar pending for acronis click here to un do it and when i did it acronis get corrupted...what happening??acrosnis is not for window xp sp3????or i should switched back to nortan ghost??
3.tell me or give me a detailled tutorial for nortan ghost/acronis for making bootable recovery disk...i wana make back up of my OS(window xp) as i have heard in some forums that it give you iso image which can be used to restore back your operating system in 4-5 minutes...plz tell me how to do that...is it true that we can do this as what i am thinking..like i 1st install my os and update it fully and then installed my fav software on it and then i should make an image on the cd/dvd and when ever it give me problem i just have to insert my that cd/dvd and within 4-5min my OS is repaired and i dont have to wait for all the process like formating/installing window/driver and software and all
4.I am using Sun Java Virtual Machine version2 on Win Xp SP3 (with 10 GB hard disk and 1 GB RAM allotted to it).
i have installe window xp in it n I have shared a software folder in the d drive instead of this machine folder but after starting the window I am unable to find that software folder. How to use that folder in the virtual machine? OR tell me how to test unknown software in Virtual machine of which installer is kept in my hard disk.
5.i am using dvd decryptor to copy my dvd on my hdd into 1 single .vob file then i am forced to use auto gk to convert them into avi but as i like to watch movie in my n 95 so i had to convert them into mp4 format....it takes time...i dont need 700 mb rip now .....i want to avoid that auto gk phase n directly convert that large .vob file to mp4 by total video converter but dvd decryptor has one limitation/bug that it show total time of movie very low as i found out that it show the time of only 1st .vob file this make TVC to convert whole file till that time only
for example if actual movie is of 2 hr and file created by dvd decryptor is just 50 min then TVC will convert file upto that time only.....how to over come that problem
5.can anyone guide me how to shoot best movie via mobile(n 95) as i have heard about mobile movie making contest so wana know basic aspect of these
