Hi everybody,
I am a new user just registered now. I am living in chennai, want to know ur ideas ,suggestions for going to buy a new Desktop PC by Mid-Range budget about 25,000 or below 28,000.
I am a freelance graphic animator, so I am well interested in graphics and also little bit interested in games, but i don't want to buy high range or professional series PC for home, but if it is somehow mid range for designing in photoshop, or 3D animation applications if it be installed , and also main that i had to use my PC by long hours , so that motherboard would able to control the heat temperature as well as processor,etc..,then how and what configuration do i need .
Previously i had Intel Motherboard 865 GBF, now i want to know about good motherboards like in ASUS, GIGABYTE, or in Intel[ but in intel, so many guys that i serached in shops[including service engineer as i know somehow] , by net search report that INTEL motherboards are coming serious complaints, so far i met peoples half of them saying intel motherboards becoming errors in some of the series, by some of them intel motherboards saying good.
So i decided o look into other good branded motherboards like ASUS, GIGABYTE, then MSI, etc...
I prefer Intel processor platform like Core 2 Duo series[not AMD, because some saying it becomes hot without AC room, but saying good configuration, so what , but i don't know about AMD platforms].
My Expecation configuration are below:
Intel Processor - Core 2 Duo [2.66 or 3 Ghz] or Core 2 Quad [if this quad processor price is very high than Duo, then how do i manage the budget in other configuration, but prefer me].
Motherboard - INTEL, ASUS, GIGABYTE,MSI,..
[by searching i got some information about
Ultra Durable motherboards, as they were extra power saving, cooling not by rising very heat in motherboard, ultra...
What far it is correct about ultra durable.
Because i would sitting with PC by long hours, so prefer about this]
Memory RAM - 2GB DDR2 800 Mhz[not high]
HDD - 250 GB HDD SATA [ able to attach my old IDE HDD's as secondary in new motherboard- 80 GB ATA and 10 GB ATA]
DVD wrier - Samsung, LG, or other[high speed]
Graphic card - not so high range, but very mid range like about Rs.2000-3000 and also suggest somehow below 4000 that would support in motherboard.
Speaker[2:1] - Creaive A300[2:1] or Creative Inspire 2600 or Altec Lasnsing BXR 1121 and prefer if these above performance.
ATX Cabinet[SMPS] - about SMPS, minimum about 500 watts, not so high, which brand SMPS like zebronics,CORSAIR, HuntKey[gigabyte ?], ANTEC, COLLERMASTER,...
UPS - abou 500 VA is ok or need 600 VA like Numeric home brand, or APC, or ohers...
Plesae help me to know from u all whaever suggestions, advice, that i follow, bu please keep in mind about my BUDGET that would cover all these above .
