PC upgradation

Friends my computers config is as follows
P4 1.7 Ghz, Jetway P4MFM Motherboard ,NVIDIA GeForce 4 MX 440 with AGP 8X PCIE, 128X2 256 MB RAM & ia m plannig to upgrade it. Tell me upgradations i must do & their prices.

Then do i trun over !!! go in for Amd !!!! go in for a 939 or 754 socket !!! more ram !!! like a 256 dimm so u'll have 128mb or 2x128 dimms more so u'll run it in dual channel mode !!!

if ur a small time gamer go in for the Geforce Fx 5200 or 5700 !!!

NVIDIA GeForce 4 MX 440 i think does not havepixel and vertex shaders !!! it has transform anf lighting (T&L). So most of the latest games u will not b able to play !!!!

Neway if u want 2 do the over turn then mayb prices can be given !!!

I think if your usage is normal, if you dont ever try your hands on very lage pics editing, video editing or extreme gaming then you don't need to upgrade your pc. If you still wanna here is the config

4 bout 20 grands u should get amd 64 3000+ , asus a8n-e mobo , 256x2 = 512 mb ram

u still save bout 2k . 4 this amt ( + .5-1k ) , go in 4 fx5200 if u rnt in2 heavy gaming , with all the effects on

keep everything u have buddy..... add another 512 mb ram @ 5k, get a 6600gt @9k, nd ur machine will rock
