Default Please help regarding VCDs !!


I have some mpg as well as asf files which I want to burn on to a cd but Nero takes extremely long to encode those video files to dat extension. Please tell me how can I encode those files to dat quickly using some software and then burn it on to the cd using Nero.

I guess ur files are on different resolutions so they will need much time to be converted....

I too got this problem while tryin to convert avis into dat but all other softwares too take the same amount of time...

the conversion depends on the PC configuration also. anyways u can find the proper encoders which may be performing faster. needs a bit of research on google

its normal and it will surely take that much time when nero is used !

Nero takes time sometimes, if the file isn't exactly a PAL or NTSC vcd.

I suggest u use NeroVision Express for it. Atleast it shows what is goin on.

Also to convert files, or change resolution, improve video, use TMPGEnc. Then use Nero for burning.

Ulead also is a great help. Also VCD Gear. The former can burn the disc 2 & the latter can make the iso file for buring on any burnin sw.

U may use an another software for encoding n then use nero to write ur files.May search Google for convertion software.
