My Pc stops working

Dear frens,

I am using Intel core 2 duo CPU HP 7800 E6750@2.66ghz 1.95 gb of RAM,WIN XP SP2 that sudenly doesnot show its desktop ,my colleague suggest me to run the ghost but i amnot ready what to do ,i have avg 8 antivirus on it now it doesnot work at all,i have uninstall tht anti virus.I am working from the run and taskbar which is visible.pls suggest me

Sushan, dude, listen.
For the last couple of days u r coming with a lot of problems to us...no,no I'm not discouraging u or telling that we can't solve them...BUT...I think the time has come when u should REINSTALL XP again.

End all of them once and for all.

U might not like my reply as I'm not telling anything that may be any of ur help. I again say, backup ur important data and reinstall XP. And this time the first thing u install b4 installing even d drivers, is A GOOD ANTIVIRUS(AVG8 would do d job).
