Default Wallpaper cd ! ! !


i have created a cd of only wallpapers ... thats 695mb of wallpapers only ...


bt as i was browsing cd, some of wallpapers (jpeg files) r not written properly ... half r greened out (green lines or pixelated) ...


worst thing ... i have deleted all wallpapers from my hdd ...


dont wanna lose all those downloaded wallpapers ... henceforth ...


whot should i do, 2 avoid such cd writting ???

use a good quality cd !!! and burn at a low speed !!! in Nero there is an option of pictures choose that while burning !!!!

well bro..as the size is 695 ..so obviously u must have finalized it....so what u can do....is this....

1) Easy Way - copy all the walls on HDD ..sort which r working or not ..and again burn them...and remember that size should not go above 670-680

2) Hard way - Install any recovery soft..and scan ur hdd ...and see if u can recover them......if u have deleted them recently..then there is good chance that u can recover them all...

There is not much that you can do about those messed up images. I guess take those that you can salvage and burn another copy.

i use moserbaer cds 2 write cd`s ...

writting cds @ low speed, will it help ???

say @ 10x or ???

It could. give it a try.
But i am not sure if its just the cd's. I have used lots of "local" cd's to back up data (including images) and i have used good ones like sony/imation and moserbaer and i've had flops in both the good ones and bad ones. and sometimes images transfered over the web have been messed up for me before. I guess you can never be sure
