buddy there r several sites which provide proxy servers for free to surf web. One such site is:

http://www.stayinvisible.com/index.pl/proxy_list

OR u can use a software like Ghost Surf Pro to surf web.U can search for this software on google.
but do remember one thing these two sucks ur net bandwidth, so if ur on a slow dial up connection. Don't go for these.

using proxy hides our ip from the sites we visit. Now how do we hide what sites we visted from our ISP?

actually ur isp will see u visiting only the proxy .. since all data is transfered from it ..
and i dun think they can find out which sites ur visiting ...
tho they can figure out its a proxy and ban it ...
but this wont happen in dial up atleast
use zonealarm to hide ur identity instead
