Default AresLite Problem

I had recently installed AresLite for P2P sharing as it is
very light on computer resources.

The problem is that when I connect the internet and
open AresLite, it keeps the bar on Connecting mode only
and doesn't change to Online Mode.

it takes quite a hell out of time before it changes its mode to online.
what could be the problem???????

i have disabled all the firewalls.
i am using Win XP Pro

I am using Ares, it gets connected generally.

This may occure if u change the setting

Have You Changed the Settings??....

Check this....

Click on the Control Panel, then on to Transfer tab;

Make sure .... Allowed Upload bandwith to atlest 8 or 0

This should solve your problem

Even before u read your post , i guessed wht's the problem is. Most of us have this problem.

I just uninstalled it and installed it and it connected for me. Also have ur firewall disabled.

It's a common problem, don't worry...

Uninstall Ares, Create a new adminstrator account in XP and install ares in that new account. I hope this will definitely help you.
