Could not load installer dor diskdrive

Am using XP SP
Today I get message :" Could not load installer for diskdrive".
Cannot even install updates .Where is the installer for diskdrive ?

Which service pack you are using? And, when does this error come? Do you notice any error/warning in System and Application event log? Do you have a file named setupapi.log in \Windows\ folder? If yes, can you check whether there are any errors in that?

Am using XP PRO SP2
Event viewer Event ID 51. An error was detected on device \Harddisk0\D during a paging operation.
Cannot install updates. Cannot also updates for PC Tools Antivirus.
Furthermore in device manager->Diskdrives->Propertied shows "Windows could notload the installer for Diskdrive. Contact your hardware vendor.
Does this mean that my new harddisk (Less than one month old) is failing?
