Athlon 64 S939 3000+
MSI RS480M2-IL
2x256MB DDR400 Hynix
80GB Seagate Barracuda
Liteon CD-writer
Sony FDD
Cabinet + PSU
MM Keyboard, optical mouse
Mercury 2.1 speakers
Samsung 793S monitor (17" non-flat)
..... Total about 30k at metro prices.

You can spend the rest of your budget on any one of a number of possibilities - a DVD drive, better speakers, full flat monitor instead of a non-flat one, larger HDD, etc.

Is it for hardcore gaming?

if it is then the above rig won't do.

If you want hardcore gaming as well as this budget, such a solution actually won't turn out to be very good especially in the future.

For abt 35k
Amd 2800 64 + Asus K8N(try to oc?),abt 10k,can be higher

512mb ddr 400 hynix,go with d43 chips may be,ask others abt ocablility,abt 2200-2400

80gb hd-abt 2650

cabinet + 400watts zebtroncis psu ,abt 1.5k

dvd rom abt 1500

microsoft internet kb-black + microsoft ms optical wheel mouse if you find it if not then basic optical mouse, all in black, approx prices
480,800-850,450-500

15"monitor for abt 4.5k

2ch speakers for abt 1k at max by creative or altec, altec might be better, consider altec

128mb geforce 6600 128bit memory interface agp

if not this then radeon 9600pro 128bit momeroy interface

though for doom3 6200 georce may be better

also,if not this then 6200 georce

though this is not a very good gamign rig and you must try to spend more
