Default Mouse scrolling downwards problem

At the time of working with either Word or Excel with the help of my optical mouse, it scrolls upwards but does not scroll downwards.

But when I use my mouse with another PC, it works fine. So, I confirm that there is no problem with the mouse.

Then what is the fault actually? How to rectify it?

It might be a driver problem or driver conflict. If u use a USB mouse try plugging the mouse in other usb port.

Reinstall the driver...................

It might not be a driver problem and may be the connection problem.................. Check if your mouse is connected properly.................
Also, check some other mouse in your PC and see what happens..................

good Idea. try the other mouse on ur system and also try installing the drivers if you get a CD for that.

Kumar does it happen only in Word and Excel or any app's.
