Default Cd skips ! ! !


many of my original movie cds (vcds) skip a lot ... even though there r no scraches on it ...


why is it so, any solution ???

there might be problem with your cd drive or the os which you are using

try to extarct the dat file using isobuster and then paly it

u have original vcds it means they are permanently with you

so you can waste time in extracting the fle

The reason can be dust on the laser-head of the cd-drive as well. Get it cleaned from a mechanic if you can't manage your-self.

Thats right. Dont use the liquid option as it will ruin the disc much more.

lens problem could also be there achacko@dataone.in and rohanbee are right !

you must contact the vendor and clean it !

do the VCDs play the same on a VCD player attached to your TV (if no vcd player available test them at your friends VCD system/pc)
other way as usual play ur VCD's take up the task manager see if any proggy is taking up your most ram or processor may be a proggy is the culpurit

I face a similar problem with my standalone DVD player.

DVD player repeats the video only in the starting 5-8 minutes of the track. after that this problem does not occur.

Mebbe a problem with ur CD-drive. Try it on ur friends PC or on a CD player and if the problem persists, there might be a possibility that ur CD must have some problems (even thought it is original).
