Exclamation Tell me the difference...

Have you ever used the IC's CM8870 and MT8870 in any of your projects? Then, can anybody tell me the differences between those as far as the applications are concerned? Can I replace the one with the other???

Both are compatible as per http://www.8051projects.info/forum/t...44&whichpage=4

There should be no change in pin layout, but check the datasheets for confirmation.

Thank you! There's no difference between the two as per the data sheets. But CM8870 didn't work in my case, where I had to use MT8870, but I couldn't get that IC
