i wanna change the default my document icon in win xp using res hacker can any one tell where the icon is located.................

Why do u want to use Res Hacker? Windows itself allows you to that.

Right click anywhere on the desktop.

Click properties

Go to the Desktop Tab

Click 'Customize Desktop' located at the bottom

Here you can change the icons.
