Default How to make a vernacular language site in html

I think the question says it all. Now if I want to make pages in, say, Kannada, how exactly do I go about it? Do I write in Kannada in between the html tags using a particular font?

^^Yep. You can use Baraha software to type in Kannada.

I've made a sample for you and here is the link- http://www.box.net/shared/r65ddqx076

You're welcome
Make sure to use an HTML editor which supports such fonts. In my case, I typed in Word and saved it to a file with a .htm extension.

If you are using Dreamweaver, then it supports Unicode.
And many editors also does support UNICODE.

http://www.google.com/transliterate/indic/Kannada

An online editor (type in English, it will get converted to Kannada), you can copy paste to any HTML editor. Supports Unicode.
