Default mobile programming


i am new to this field...
how can i create applications for mobile...
can i do it using .net
if so wat will b the best choice .net or j2me

Java ME is the best of course. Any decent phone comes with MIDP 2.0 support today. So you can target a larger user base with Java ME based apps.

You can make applications in Symbian also if the mobile OS is Symbian.

Most mobiles these days supports Java MIDP 2.0 as Chandru said.. J2ME is also widely used for making games and applications for mobile...
