Regional Language format

I want to write(type) in my regional language to post it on my blog. i have fonts for the same. but it won't work unless the end user has installed those in his/her system. Hence i have to create image file jpeg/png and to upload it on the blog. but it occupies too much space resulting in slower loading of blog.

Is there any alternative for this ?

i think u should upload (give a link to it) the font as well on ur blog...

or just try to reduce the size of the images... less dpi and less resolution
