Red face Web Designing/programming help

hey guys, I was basically a windows developer till now, but now I have been assigned 3 website development work. I have to build the sites from scratch. I am perty ok with Photoshop to create web the webpage layouts and then slice the PSD and open up in Dreamweaver, but here is where it ends, I cannot figureout the correct way of doing it i.e., exporting from PS to DW properly. Can you guys point me to any sources which would help me out on this.

Well...you have to learn CSS throughly then :/ Gigacore can help here

And AFAIS, don't use too much images. Make it minimal and separate HTML(content) from CSS well.

Perfect example I can give is Drupal's default theme, it's elegant:

'Content management', if that's required, do use Drupal/Joomla/etc. Else you can do it in your own way!

Drupal, it's good and strict standard compliant. A nice theming engine too.

Yeah using CMS will be less time consuming.I Recommend to use Joomla because -
1.Security
2.Millions of themes available
3.Very easy to use and install
4.Thousands of components can be added ,for eg guestbook, google analytics, etc
