Angry ps/2 mouse not responds after resuming standby

I installed recently win xp pro on my laptop IBM thinkpad t21. configent III, 800 MHz. 190 MB RAM.
When I resume after standby/ hibernation mode the mouse stops responding. What could be the problem? How can I solve it?
I have updated mouse track device driver from the IBM site also. But still the problem persists!!!
In Win 2k Pro I hadn't had this problem. Please help!!

Check out the power management settings for the mouse under System Properties->Hardware Devices.

Do you mean device manager->Mice and other pointing devices-> PS/2 TrackPoint ?
I couldn't solve the problem yet.
There is nothing of the kind of powermanagement in PS/2 Track Point Properties. Other than that I have installed the latest driver for power management from the Lenova website. :http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/si...id=MIGR-4JSQHB

The problem has been resolved after uninstalling the trackpoint driver which I had downloaded earlier and installed from the support site above.

Resolved the problem after removing the latest version of the trackpoint device driver.
