Diffrence between an usb pen drive & a flash pen drive?

This may sound like a dumb question, but I would like to know the difference between an usb pen drive & a flash pen drive? Is a flash drive better than an usb drive? And thirdly, is a 256 mb usb = 128 mb flash drive?

It's the same thing,it's called a flash drive bcuz it uses flash memory & it's a USB drive cuz it uses the USB interface.

The USB pen drive uses flash memory hence its a flash drive.
There are usb drives that dont use flash memory but they have a larger footprint and cannot be called a pen drive.
If its a pen drive then it has to be using flash memory.
