Default USB drive problem.

I have a LG 128mb USB flash memory pen drive. My problem is whenever I copy a folder from my
windows 2000 operating system. The folder gets copied to the drive it also displays the contents.
But when i replug it on the same or different system I can see the folder but there are no files in that folder.

However the same drive works perfectly on my Windows Xp operating system. I can copy contents to my drive from
XP and it is later displayed on win2k os also.

Is it neccessary to have administrator priviledges to copy contents to the drive in win2k?

Please help.

Why don't you try installing the pen drive's driver and then give it a try in your 2000 os...
