Default printer problem

i have HP laserjet 1005 printer the ink has spattered into the printer through toner. i want to clean it. plz tell me how to clean it. the print is not coming clear.

You refilled the toner? This would be a real mess. The ink is very very fine and you have to use a wet nap to clean it up. But it can leave residues on the drum and stuff and you get streaks. You have to use like audio tape head cleaning solution which evaporates. Even then it is very hard..... Best bet to take it all apart and use a blow dryer to blow of the dye from all the stuff. But important you do not touch the drum and stuff and leave finger prints. You have some hard work ahead to get this thing back working properly.....

Even if some ink remains inside the unit, better to leave it. Remember, LEAVE NO PRINTS on the drum and stuff... Do not wipe with bad cloths or anything.... If you spill the ink i nthe room, good luck trying to clean it up. It gets into everything.
