Default which printer to buy ?

hello friends,

i have decided to buy all-in one printer. i have shortlisted LEXMARKS 2250 on the folowing basis.

1) cheaper option of print-scan-copy @ 5000/- compare to hp @ 8500/-
2) standalone copier
3) onsite warranty

will anybody who is using the same can enlighten me whether my choice is correct or wrong ?

Regarding the all in one stuff .. It is very delicate, since if some individual part in it busts open then u may not know what will happen to the entire thing.

Boss go for HP, let it be costlyer but it has service all round india. i think the one HP advertizes goes like this, 5000 + 1600 care pack + taxes.
HP is the best is service, dont know about Lexmark.

Do you have some space constraints? Then going for a MFD makes sense. If you have no space problems, go for separate units. There wouldn't be too much difference in cost.

If you need to use the copier mode, then search the Digit DVDs/CDs of last few months. There was a freeware called Photocopier that will combine your scanner and printer to give you copies. Its a good software. Really helpful

As for printers, Canon is the best. For scanner, I think Umax is best.
