Default URGENT HELP: processor, motherboard config

ok, guys i m upgrading 2 a new pc, and i have sum confusion abt the config.
first the processor, i have decided to with the intel core 2 duo e6320, i wanna know is there any AMD processor which offers better value for the same money as the e6320.
also if sum1 can give me the price of e6320, does it cost same as the e6300?

now the motherboard, i have decided no the nforce 650i, is there any other suggestions anyone can make for about the same price.

and finally the gfx card, i have gone with the 8600 gt as it supports dx10, is there anything better from ati at same price?

i would also like to know is this the best time buy these products, is there a price slash expected soon?
please help soon

Intel has announced a price cut in July so you better wait till then. But i have no idea how long it will take for the Indian market to reflect those changes.
Your config sounds good. Take a look at the 680i LT based mobos also.

Mobo - XFX 650i ultra @ 6k
E6320 - 7.5 -8k .............E6300 would cost 500/- less, better get E6320 with 4mb cache.

I would not recommend 8600gt but if your budget is around 7-8k then its your best option.
