X1300 is the card onboard but the pricing is as high as rs. 14000/- onwards as with IL-integrated lan or IWIFI support takes it somewhat more high.. if you are on intel Proccy go for intel mobo with DDr2 800 or 1ghz support and sataII .. thats would be far more better for C2d , rather then to wait as waiting never ends

YEAH EVERY MOBO SUPPORTS NVIDIA GFX THAT SUPPORTS AGP8X or PCIe architecture.. WELL YOU CAN HAVE COMPATIBLITY PROBLEMS IN ATI CHIPSETS , if you install a NVIDIA GFX ON THEM..

Only G965 chipset supports onboard graphics.
I would recommend MSI G965M-FI. Its better to have onboard graphics as a backup.

MSI P965-NeoF. I would definitely buy this if I were in your position. It will allow you to overclock to a moderate extent and is seriously great value for money.

The Platinum is too expensive and not worth it unless you want to seriously overclock.
G965 is not nearly as good as P965.
The Asus mobo's are too expensive
975 is worthless uless you want a Crossfire setup.
Intel is ruled out because it sucks compared to MSI.

There is no such thing

@ navino87

You have already mentioned that you will be buying a graphics card at the time of getting the computer. So onboard graphics does not matter.

Gigabyte DS3 is something i would also support, if u plan to overclock. However, for no overclocking usage & solid stability intel D965RY is best

@saurav !!! I THINK THAT YOU DONT KNOW ABOUT CHIPSET COMPATIBILTY
THE MSI TEAM LET ME KNEW THAT IF I INSTALL A NVIDIA GPF CARD THEN COMPATIBILITY ISSUES MAY OCCUR ON ATi Chipset...

SO FIRST RESEARCH on the topic and then tell it here...

JUST DONT COME SIT AND WRITE
AND Firstly BRING SOME RESPECT IN YOUR WORDS...

HOW CAN YOU SAY WITHOUT KNOWING THAT THERE ARE NO SUCH THINGS....

I have used Ati chipsets in the past and have encounterd problems in using Nvidia cards.... IF YOU WANT A PROOF then google by writing MSI RS482m2 problems with nvidia graphics..

and dude TEll me a thing on how many Ati chipset boards have you tried installing NVIDIA GPU...

SO DO A RESEARCH AND THEN SAY ANYTHING...

Thanks a lot for every one replied to my post...

Now i am planning to get a comp for my office with similar config. Since it is fully for working with multiple documents at same time and nothing to do with graphics, i want a board which has a decent onboard gfx card.

Also a board which support quadcore for future upgradability is best recomended...

Just buy any mobo based on G965. It has onboard graphics as well as support for Quadcore.

The nForce 680i is an ultra high-end gaming mobo with SLI. It costs as much as a low end PC. Don't even bother enquiring about the price. It will be in excess of 15k minimum.

Check this site for a list of Quad core supporting mobo's
http://www.intel.com/cd/channel/rese...ech/299987.htm

Both Intel DG965RY and Intel DG965WH are on the list.

I would go with kniwor, except may be GA-965P-DS3, I'd go for 965G instead of 965P which does not have onboard graphics.

Ok this is how I feel it should be if price is not much of a concern....

1. ASUS P5B delux........If OC is in your book and you can go without the on board graphic solution. P5B is a ROCK solid board with awsome tweaking options and oodles of features.
You can go for any P5B varient board based on 965 and you have one good board.

Linki

http://in.asus.com/products2.aspx?l1=3&l2=11

2. GA-965G-DS3 ........Again if OC is your game but you need an on board graphic solution as a back up maybe. DS3 is an awsome board as well again with loads of features.

Linki

http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/...me=GA-965G-DS3

3. DG965WH/DG965RY.......If OC is not your cup of tea. Intel boards have the least almost no tweaking options.....and limited (rest assured all essential) features.

4. MSI Q965/G965......If you wanna go for an inexpensive solution with onboard graphics with all the features of 965 chipset. Cant comment on OC as not much idea about how much tweaking MSI Q965/G965 allows.

Linki....

http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.c...id=2049&page=2

EDIT: I 'd like to add that all P5B series 965 chipset support quad core with a simple bios update......
