HELP - PC Configuration
Am planning to buy a new pc... can u suggest me from below what would be the best deal..
i will be using php, mysql, apache, photoshop, flash, AUTOCAD..... and play games such as nfs carbon etc....
i went to the dealer and he gave the following
1) Chip SET2) Mother Board- Asus N-vidia 128mb graphics card built in
- Intel 102
- MSI
3) 17in TFT Moinitorcan you help me select the best chip set with the equivalent mother board.. and which monitor to pick up....
and plz mention the approx price i will hav to pay.... i don wanna be ripped...
budget is 30-40k
mainly i need help with which chip set to go..... n which model in amd n intel

For the processor, get C2D 6300. It just costs a little more but is way better.
And as wizrulz said, a graphics card is a must. Atleast get a 7300GS, if you don't have a graphics card or don't want to spend more.

Yup it will...but u have another option like C2D E6400 & E6300.U know if u overclock E6300,it breaks the barrier of X6800(Stock) in performance.

For autocad and stuffs use x2 3600 , asus m2n-e ,2g ram ,7600 gt . This will fit your 35k  . You need ram in loads for photoshop ,max,maya and all 6300 hardly makes a diff here .

i use both photoshop and AUTODESK AUTOCAD, Revit and what more game sometime too.........
my pc P4 820 D 2.8 Ghz....... Intel GGC2 MB, ATI 300xt, even onboard ATI200 will do...512 x 2 DDR2 533 (Unbranded Hynix Chipset).... Seagate SATA2 160gb... 400watt powersafe gold.. filthy old cabinet(i like it so much cannot let it go.......) another Samsung PATA 160gb.. Sony DVD writer phillips 17" TFT (Samsung 740bn for you) TVSE GOLD Keboard and Microsoft Wheel mouse optical (not the basic mouse ... both logitech and microsoft basic mouse have tracking issues buy one gen higher optical mouse after all our work depend on it.....aka photoshp and autocad)
No UPS buy apc if you like ........ i really get screwed during power fluctuations....... speakers --->SONY personal headphones....... expensive ones ... These walls are paper thin the neighbor complains you see........ set me back by 40K i think with all the prices drop will be around what 30 odd k ........ At least works for me........
