Need config for a new pc which is Vista ready...
for Budget, whatever the minimum will be the best for me...

min config as mentioned in the site :

Windows Vista Capable :
modern processor (min. 800MHz)
512MB system memory
DirectX 9-capable graphics processor

No matter what M$ says about Vista requirements...For the ultimate vista experience you need..

Dual Core+ 2GB ram+ 6600LE(or above) gfx card + HDD that gives 65mb/s avg read...

This will be like what XP is with..

1.8Ghz (or above) Singe Core + 512MB-1GB ram + mx 4000 + HDD that gives 42mb/s-45MB/s avg read....

How Much Memory Does Vista REALLY Need?

to run full blown Vista, you'll need at least 1,5 Gb
This is not official guidance. This is based merely upon the bloggers observations

1 gb of ram atleast preferably 2 gb
