I am going to buy AMD Athlon 64 3000+ and ASUS A8N-VM mobo(Having nvdia 6100). The processor is going to cost me 5772/- and mobo 6864/-. Are the prices correct and suggest any other option in same price range

The ASUS A8N-VM mobo costs 4500 in MUMBAI, so it must be lower in Patna. THe package AMD 64 3000+ and ASUS A8N-VM costs 10550 In mumbai.

If u want the same features Then go for MSI K8NGM2 series mobos. The lowest L variant costs 3700 in mumbai and it does has TV-out option.

I think you are referring to the A8N-VM CSM having 6150 chipset. If that is the case, then the price is OK. Otherwise, the price of the A8N-VM is only Rs.4300 and this is the one having 6100 chipset.
