The above config is the best in your price range . But IF you increase your budget by 4K you can get Intel I5 2400 + DH67CL B3

Re: 35k - 40k Gaming PC suggestion
Stock cooler is crap, so you might need an aftermarket cooler even without OCing.

Re: 35k - 40k Gaming PC suggestion
Intel Core I5-2500K @12.2K
Asus P8Z68-M @9.7K
G.Skill RipjawsX 4GB DDR3 @1.5K
WD Caviar Blue 500 GB @4.2K
Asus DRW-24B3ST @1.1K
NZXT Source 210 Elite @2.4K
Corsair GS600 @4K (suggested to accommodate good graphics card in future)
BenQ G2222HDL @7.5K
Total: 42.6K
This the minimum 2500K based config without graphics card. The motherboard suggested is mid end Z68 board, which is good for only mild overclocking (i.e. ~4.2GHz)

Re: 35k - 40k Gaming PC suggestion
Btw Don't expect any price cuts. Even if Intel somehow gets kind enough to cut price; the retailers & falling Rupee are not exactly your friends.

Re: 35k - 40k Gaming PC suggestion
for gaming and overclocking 960t + gigabyte ga 970a ud3 + cm hyper 212 is good but a core i5 2400 + Intel DH67CL will give you much faster performance in games even though the cpu is not OCable.
If you want a cheap Oc able config for Intel look for a core i5 2500k cpu - around ~12.5k now and a FoxConn/Biostar/Asrock Z75 mobo around ~5.5-6.5k.
you are wrong about this ... as an example I think you should read this

Re: 35k - 40k Gaming PC suggestion
they supports OCing of K series SB/IB cpu for sure but there's still no review of any z75 mobo I could find - so better would be if you can find a review of z75 mobo first or else if you managed to get your hands on a z75 mobo you can write the first review by yourself
