    Default Upgrade again...Suggestion please

    Currently i have two PCs

My dad wants a pc for learning and movies. So i planned to give him the pentium D pc and upgrade the core 2 duo

Here is my plan. Please suggest me the components. My total budget is 30k. Not urgent may be buying one by one for next two months

I am not filling the template, because the requirement is mixed for 3 PCs

    PC1
Usage - gaming, HD movies, photo editing
CPU - i am going to OC in the future
Motherboard - Should support crossfire for 6850, usb 3.0 required, 7.1 good audio
    RAM - 8gb

    PC2
Usage - Surfing, interactive cd/dvd for my kid
    Monitor for PC2
I want a 24" TN panel for dual setup with PC1(asus PA238Q) and used for gaming.

    PC3
Usage - watching movies and photos. Learning computers for my dad
I dont want spend much on these so PSU+Case max budget is 2k

Please suggest me if you have any alteration
Below is my current configs. The "?" are the required components

    Thanks,
    Mani

Please clarify one thing. You have posted:

    My total budget is 30k.
I guess that's for each PC, right?

And also tell the list of component which you already have.

    Thanks for the reply d6bmg...

The above table is having all the components which i already have. Only the "?" are required. The total budget is 30-35k is for all three PC, not each PC.

    CoolerMaster CMP 350 Case+PSU - Hardwire.in Is this good for PC3?

    Stay away from CoolerMaster PSU..

And if you need more info about G2420, skud can help. He also has same monitor

And going for FSP Saga II 400w will be better for PC3, as it has no high end components...

Intel is possible at your budget, buy you won't get a 'K' series CPU. So, you can't overclock it. So, what I'm trying to say is that if you opt for Intel, then you have give away your choice of OC'ing the CPU.
