Is corsair vx 450 is enaugh for ati radeon hd6870.
If i will buy hd6950 then what about the psu?
If its not sufficient then plz mention(only corsair)

Get Corsair VX550 @4.5k and have no more worries in life!!

But if you stick to 6870 then VX450 is fine.

Yeah, its enough. But you cant crossfire with this PSU.
Hd gaming on most games can be done.

Stick to VX550. Newer VX series arent as good as they used to be.

You can find Corsair Vx 550 at Vedant/MD computers.Go for VX 550 for future upgrading.

Check the specs of VX450 & check whats the Max Power output. I think its 500+ [520 or 550 not sure of the exact value].

& the following PSU can handle without any problem, but no CF can be achieved with it.

Even it recommended to have a 500W PSU for HD 6870 and it is mentioned in AMD's site. Apart from that your system is a powerful one and for keeping room for future upgrades, get a good PSU of minimum 500W.

if you are in tight budget then have look at Corsair GS 600W @ 3.8K or Tagan Stonerock 600W 80+ bronze @ 4K (may be less street price). But VX 550 is the best choice here.

Guys i bought cooler master gx650 psu. None of the shops had vx550. Thats the reason.
So is GX650 a good psu??
