Taking a new pc , Here my config, Wht wuld be cost??

Hey all of u, i am taking a new pc ,
My config as such
Quad core 6600
Gigabyte motherboard dnt knw model no suggest plz
2x2 gb 800 mhz ram
21 inch lcd samsung widescreen
500 gb seagate hard disk
graphic till 6-7k in ATI
Till hw much the cost wuld go
nd plz suggest if required anything , bugdet till 40k

forget about the config. Try this:

Phenom II X4 940: 11k
Gigabyte 780G base mobo: 4.5k
2x2Gb DDR2 800 RAM: 2.5k I think
Samsung 22" display 2233SW: 11k I think (highly recommended)
500Gb Seagate 7200.12 HDD: 3k~
Palit HD4850: 8k
or
MSI HD4870: 12k-13k (highly recommended)
Corsair VX450: 3.9k for HD4850
Corsair VX550: 5.5k for HD4870.

If you really want Intel solution then,
Quad core Q8200 - 8.8K
Gigabyte EP45 -DS3L - 7K

(Keep the rest config as desiibond suggested)

my bro is nt allowing to take grpahic card , so maybe i have to reduce the price of graphic to 3-4 k

I am sorry , i was confused , the motherboard he is giving at 6,000 has extra ram slots , plus extra sata hard disk cable ports and firewire , i am going for 3,000 one motherboard which does have only two slots, sorry for the trouble

With this kind of attitude, what proper advice do you seek? If you are saying its your problem, why are you asking advice? When asking advice- mild criticism and sarcasm comes with the package. Even a standard atx based mobo gigabyte g31-s3l (unfortunatly sold out to the bone so you will be lucky to get it) was for 3.5k itself! You are getting ripped off but on top of it on the board and you want to continue to do so- you rather save the money and donate the remaining cash to charity. 6K is a lot of money- on a cheap g31 chipset is plaing silly- even for a standard atx.
I would recommend shops like primeabgb, mahavir and Cassette world- cassete world. I am curious as in who (which store rather) is selling Installation + Assembling charges with all software Including windows XP for 1350 /-

Even now, I would say that Phenom II 940 + Gigabyte 780G based config will rip off Quad core + G31 based config without mercy. The Q8200+G31 is no match for the 940+780G monster. But you will never understand. Please don't cry later why your 40k pc is not giving enough performance. G31 is for those who are on a shoe string budget and for PC that costs inside 20k.
