Default Question about Fedora

Wow, I cant believe I'm actually posting a thread here!

I need to install fedora for trying some programs for the university practicals, and basically I'm in need of the compilers in Fedora.

If I use the fedora 9 livecd, would all the includes, libraries, etc be present like in the install version? I dont really care about other features, I just need this.
