Hmm, I think xfce uses a script called xfce_setup to set it up as the default window manager.

Run this while logged on as your normal user account

Code:
xfce_setup
If this does not work, you can create or modify the .xinitrc file in your home directory and put the line "exec xfce" in it. But read the documentation at the xfce site before that.

now m successfuly installed XFCE on my FC1 linux

i got the help in XFCE-manual
