Kinternet does not work

I have installed openSUSe11.Also configured PPPoE Broadband Internet Connection.Also install Kinternet from DVD.Then also Dial-in or Hang-Up option in system tray icon for Kinternet is not enabled.I cant connect or disconnect internet using Kinternet.

I think you have to enable smppd service. Here some from that guide:
9. Now go to YaST as before, and Click on System (in the left pane) and System Services in the right pane;
10.Look for and click on smpppd as shown. Observe that the enabled column will be marked as No. Click on the Enable button below.

you have to bang your head with wall before making Opensuse connect to internet
