Default Video Converter


Hi
Can any one tell me a good Video Convertor and Resizer for Linux ? I have heard of Avidemux but its interface is complicated , if thats only alternative then can anyone tell me how to use it ?

Try mencoder, if you aren't averse to CLI.

Open the video file in avidemux and then chnage Video format from the drop-down menu and select your desired format and some Advanced features in "Configure" option. Do the same with Audio or else leave it to "Copy" option. Then just save the video File>Save>Save Video.

ffmpeg/mencoder are great for the job ,
add a dash of bash and you got yourselves a winning combination
