Default Windows Mobile in Linux

Hi
I brought a Windows based mobile today for my sister http://www.thinkdigit.com/forum/mobiles-tablets/96074-next-what-touch.html#post922222

Now being a WIndows mobile it doesn't detect it in Linux. I mean via USB . I don't have mem card reader and the one that came pre-installed with my PC has malfunctioned !

Mandriva has support for Windows Mobile but currently I am using Linux Mint 4.0 with Windows [just for that mobile]

Any ideas how can I make that work ? SE phones never created problem !

Regards

What do you mean via USB? Are you implying mass storage mode or phone mode? Coz if I'm not wrong, all things are done through the USB itself.

Never tried it personally, but I have heard SynCE works for syncing windows-mobiles. Not sure if it will allow you to transfer data to your memory card though. I would suggest you to have a look at ubuntuforums for an answer.

Edit: Found the link
http://www.synce.org/moin/

Dude, just checked your link. Touchwiz is not windows-mobile based AFAIK :S
