Hi friends,
iam familiar with linux cmds n iam able to work in linux....
my question s: i want know how to add an application to my desire in linux...
it can done by editing source codes so i need source codes of iso linux n pls guide me how to add or modify a applications in linux according to our wish...pls tell me d procedure n from where should i get source code pls send me link where i can get it....

Dude, what are these applications that you 'desire'?

Coz u get a tonne of applications already available, and they come in packages for most of the popular distributions of Linux.

Otherwise, I'm sure that if you go to the desired application's download page, there will be a link to it's CVS [Source Code Repository], where u can get the last stable source and modify according to your distro, assuming that you are downloading the application from the developer's website.
