Default OpenSUSE 11 Sound problems

Hey guys I've been using OpenSUSE 11 for a few weeks.. it works well.. but since a last few days i've been encountering a very strange problem.. every time I boot openSUSE 11 I need to restart the sound configuration.. I mean I've to open Yast and then stop sound and restart it.. this only for listening the sounds.. I don't know why its bothering me.. what could be the problem.. Only MPlayer gives the output of the sound and no other application does (before restarting sound).. Please guide me..

KMenu->Sound & Multimedia->Sound System->Enable Sound System

Apply

Click on hardware tab-> Select the audio device->Autodetect
Apply

Ctrl+Alt+Del
