harshitjain Right Off the Assembly Line Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: beside my comp Posts: 16	No USB Hard Disk!! I have a usb hard disk, which really is an internal drive with casing. Well the problem is that whenever i connect it to my comp. fedora does nothing, it doesn´t even show an error. i don´t know what to do as most of my music lies in that drive. Please HELP!!

Also i still don´t know why the drive is still not shown in the places menu ??

nah its not.

You have to edit /etc/fstab file and make an entry for that hard drive
