Default Sites not opening with Tata USB modem in Fedora 9

I am unable to open any site in Fedora 9 using Tata Usb modem, On giving command "wvdial", it connects to the network, but no page opens in firefox(or other browser).IM and email clients also not working.

Wvdial.conf looks like that

Quote:
[Dialer Defaults]
Init2 = ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0
Modem Type = USB Modem
Phone = #777
ISDN = 0
Username = internet
Init1 = ATZ
Password = internet
Modem = /dev/ttyACM0
Baud = 460800
stupid mode = 1

Add the dns servers in the output of the wvdial command to your /etc/resolv.conf file

as root(su) run "route add default ppp0" .then try pinging some websites.
again as chaitanya said ,add dns entries in /etc/resolv.conf .u can edit by running "gksudo gedit /etc/resolv.conf "

use opendns entries as shown below:
Code:
nameserver 208.67.222.222
nameserver 208.67.220.220

Code:
Feb  2 09:51:44 bauhaus pppd[2219]: primary   DNS address 62.151.8.100
Feb  2 09:51:44 bauhaus pppd[2219]: secondary DNS address 62.151.2.8
after the connection is established your wvdial output will be similar to above.
copy these dns addresses to your /etc/resolv.conf file.
In Ubuntu this configuration is not required. For some reason we have to manually do it in Fedora.

Thanks for the replies. Will try and post the result here.

It worked. Now I am able to use it in Fedora.
