Login trouble in OpenSuse 10.3

OpenSuse 10.3 doesn't start KDE automatically on starting computer. I have to login in command mode and then start it manually. Also the buttons for Shutdown and suspend are mssing in power options.

1. How do u start manually?
2. Post the content of "/etc/inittab"

Go to Yast --> System --> System services and check that XDM service is enabled or not. Also have you installed KDM?

Thanks for the replies, but of no use now. I have reinstalled it now. When I started it, I used to get text based user interface only. I had to loging here only and then use startx to start graphical display.
