Default How to mount flash Disk in Linux?


I am very new to linux... this is the first time im using it..
im using a live CD to boot into Kubunto Hardy-Heron release 8.04
I need to mount my flash drive on this but dont know how to... can someone please explain??

it should be detected automatically

else
1. sudo fdisk -l
2. see which one shows as ur flash disk
3. sudo mount the flash drive

i entered sudo fdisk -l in terminal window
but it returned nothing... it only showed up the next line for enetering the next command.. pls help
