how to make internet connection in mandriva

i have installed mandriva 2008.1 spring on my pc.i want to connect to internet through my nokia 3110c mobile. i want to connect to internet through my airtel connection.what should i do ?can i connect through data cable or bluetooth.i have insert bluetooth dongle and data cable but OS give no response to this. what type of network connection should i choose ?plz tell me .............

i have downlaoded gcc,c++ (.rpm file) but i could not install it on my mandriva.it gives error that architecture is not supported.what it means.....?please tell me........

I guess you downloaded files of a different architecture than yours. If you have an Intel based PC then you should download the files having names ending in " .i586.rpm"
