Default Ubuntu On USB

Hi Friends

I Have 80 GB Portable HDD & I Have Ubuntu Which I Have Got From DIGIT December 2007 DVD So Can I Install Ubuntu On It? So That When I Remove My HDD There Will Not Be OS While When I Insert The HDD On My Friends PC Ubuntu Should Start?

Is It Possible?

Yes, you can install Ubuntu on removable storage and you will be able to *boot* from it in the other PC (at least on compatible hardware). Follow http://www.pendrivelinux.com/
