help : wireless connection not working in suse 10.3

Hi, I have installed suse 10.3 on my compaq laptop. but Knetworkmanager is not listing any wireless network around.. I have manu wifi connection arround me..

network card is intel pro/wireless 3945ABG

any help would be useful

Is the card detected? If it is, then startYaST then go to network namager. Select the card from the list, configure it from there.

You have to give the encryption password and type (if any) and the internal IP address if you are using one. Then click on the panel icon of the network and enable wireless networking...

Card is detected..
I have tried to configure the card via yast but didnt help.. I didnt set internal ip but i wll try it..
main prob is knetworkmanager has tabs disabled..
Also my card is working as i can see the connection available using iwlist command..

Anyway, try, you have to enable network manager in yast when you open the card to configure (there is a checkbox to be ticked in the first screen).
