[help]i am not geting the minimize maximize effect

i am not getting the minimize maximize effects on ubuntu gutsy gibbon with latest compiz fusion installed
my specs r
intel core 2 duo 2,2ghz
2gb ram
gigabyte 945gcmx-s2 mobo

do i need some pci-e gxf card?

choose the "animations" module from compiz-setting-manager

i haev doen that already but still teh animation r nt there in compiz fusion advanced desktop prefernces

Check if you have effects enabled.
There was a command to see if you have your driver installed properly I believe it was
glxinfo | grep enabled
Im really not sure of this but you might want to check the other threads for similair info. Do you get any other effect? What graphics are you using?

try in a terminal "glxinfo |grep render"
also check ur /etc/X11/xorg.conf for :

Section "Extensions"
    Option         "Composite" "Enable"
