Today i installed fedora 8 and found it to be quite impressive.Although i will always have ubuntu and XP installed on my PC,i wanted to get a feel of KDE.
here are my noobish querries-
1.how to view all ur drives in fedora,liek C,D,E drives?
2.Is my 8800GTS 512 compatible with fedora?
3.Tell me any good movie and music players for fedora
4. a good site for KDE like gnome-look.org
5.Firefox is not installing.help

A. automount using UUID by editing fstab file in /etc directory

2.Is my 8800GTS 512 compatible with fedora?
A. Dunno

3.Tell me any good movie and music players for fedora
A. Kaffiene is a good Movie player, Amarok is the audio bet

4. a good site for KDE like gnome-look.org
A. www.kde-look.org

5.Firefox is not installing.
A. get the lastest rpm and su make, make install, ./configure

5> sudo yum install firefox

Don't compile from source -- at least not yet.

1. Desktop/Computer => "Double click wateva u want" . Partitions/hdds are there, u just have to click on em.
2. 8600 Gt is and I think 8800 is also supported.
